Hors-série

La sélection de peintures regroupées sous la catégorie Hors-Série ont été réalisées entre 2010 et 2019. Différents styles se mêlent au gré de mon évolution. En effet, des périodes noires succèdent à des périodes pop et colorées. Et inversement.

Expositions

Certaines oeuvres de la collection Hors-Série ont été exposées dans différents endroits de Paris. Par exemple, en 2016, à l’Atelier Gustave, lors d’une exposition collective. A la librairie Libria, à la Maison de Mai et au sein de la boutique Sephora rue de Rivoli. J’ai aussi participé à la première édition de Nomades, le festival culturel du 3e arrondissement. Enfin, la toile Le Secret a été spécifiquement créée pour une exposition à la Galerie Métanoïa. 
Quelques-unes des peintures de la collection Hors-Série se trouvent dans le livre d’art The Girly Show.
Enfin, l’Université d’Harvard a acquis la peinture Cabu en 2015.

Contexte

L’inventaire des visages se réfère à leurs propres mythologies. Le trait graphique et minimaliste met en scène la thématique contradictoire d’un monde clos. L’opacité et le contraste des couleurs révèlent une relation logique entre le sujet et le support. La réalité du vivant devient un théâtre total, entre ombres et lumière.

Uncategorized

The selection of paintings from the Hors-Série category was made between 2010 and 2019. Different styles mix with my evolution. Indeed, black periods follow pop and colorful periods. And vice versa.

Exhibitions

Few paintings from the Hors-Série collection have been exhibited in different places in Paris. In 2016, at the Atelier Gustave, during a group exhibition, at the Libria bookstore, at the Maison de Mai and at the Sephora shop rue de Rivoli. Also, I took the opportunity to exhibit at the first edition of Nomades, the cultural festival of the 3rd district. The painting Le Secret was specifically created for an exhibition at the Galerie Métanoïa.
Some of the paintings from the Hors-Série collection can be found in The Girly Show art book.
Finally, Harvard University acquired the Cabu painting in 2015.

Context

The multitude of the faces refer to their own mythology. The graphical and minimalist line show the contradicting thematic of a closed world. The opacity and the contrasting colors show a logical connection between the subject and the canvas. The reality becomes a theatrical performance of light and shadows.
